A new Matrix? Keanu Reeves and Laurence Fishburne hint at a possible common project

Keanu Reeves and Laurence Fishburne they could be seen in a different avatar than their usual action-packed roles in the Matrix and John Wick series.

In a conversation with ET Canada, Reeves and Fishburne discussed the possibility of starring in a comedy together, while promoting their upcoming film, John Wick: Chapter 4.

The presenter suggested to the actors that it is time for them to come together for a comedy. The Speed ​​actor shared that he was totally on board.

Although both actors are much better known for their serious work, they complimented each other on their comedic chops.

“Yeah, that would be fun. He is funny. He has a wonderful sense of humor and [es] marvelous. I mean legend. So yeah, that would be fun.”

He also speculated as to what kind of buddy sitcom would do better for them. He suggested a “roadside comedy” plot.

Fishburne also admitted that it was a good idea, and praised his co-star: “We could, but… because Keanu is so funny. When he’s funny, he’s really funny. And I don’t know if I’m that funny.”

Directed by Chad Stahelski, the next John Wick installment also stars Donnie Yen, Bill Skarsgård, Hiroyuki Sanada, Shamier Anderson, Lance Reddick, Rina Sawayama, Scott Adkins, and Ian McShane.
