A summer ago, exclusively on Sky and streaming only on NOW, the third and fourth episodes

The line that divides the present from the past, our days since that summer of the ’90s, becomes increasingly thinner, while memories that now seemed lost forever begin to resurface in the new episodes (third and fourth) of ONE SUMMER AGO (THE SPECIAL – EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW)the new series Sky Original produced by Sky Studios and Fabula Pictures. Now available exclusively on Sky and streaming only on NOW, the two new episodes will air this evening on Sky Atlantic.

The plot

Elio (Lino Guanciale) cannot rest and tries in every way to go back to Camping l’Onda in his memory, to understand what really happened that night. He thus begins to investigate the videotape, asking old friends to remember if Arianna (Antonia Fotaras) had a relationship with another man. Inspector Zancan (Paolo Pierobon) does not give up on his intent to find the culprit of the girl’s death, and ends up discovering something unexpected. Meanwhile, in the 90s Elio (Filippo Scotti) begins to wonder if knowing the future is not possible to change the past…

The playlist of the songs from the series

Available on Spotify is the playlist curated by Valerio Errico and Marco De Angelis with the soundtrack of the series, which alongside the original music composed by Michele Braga includes many of the hits of the 80s and 90s: from “Bette Davis Eyes” by Kim Carnes to a-Ha for “Take on me”, Depeche Mode for “Enjoy the Silence”, Tears for Fears for “Shout”. And again, among others, “The Power of Love” by Frankie Goes to Hollywood, “Amore Desperato” by Nada, “Un’estate italiana” by Edoardo Bennato and Gianna Nannini and, obviously, “Un’estate fa”. Of the famous song by Franco Califano which gives the title to the Sky Original series, in One Summer Ago there is space for both Mina’s beloved version and a surprising new cover created especially for the da series Francesca Michielin (feat. Altarboy).
