Adrien Brody turns 50. The American actor, one of the most loved faces in Hollywood, achieved international fame thanks to his performance as pianist Władysław Szpilman in Polański’s film for which it also won an Oscar (still is the youngest to have won the statuette in the best actor category). Born in NYC on April 14, 1973, he grew up in Queens. His debut, in 1988, is on the small screen, in the sitcom Annie McGuire. She appears in small roles in numerous films and in 1996 is in Bullets with Tupac Shakur and Mickey Rourke (pictured). In 1998 he gained critical attention for his role in the film Restaurantthanks to which he receives a Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Actor

In the cinema, however, Brody’s latest works have been in The French Dispatch by Wes Anderson and in Blonde by Andrew Dominik. In the discussed Marilyn Monroe biopic played Arthur Miller. In 2023 we will see him in several upcoming films, including the expected one Asteroid Citythe latest effort by Wes Anderson (which scores the fifth collaboration with the director)
