‘Peace Out’ kicks off in Philadelphia on September 2, 2023 and ends on January 26, 2024 in Montreal, Canada: 40 dates to celebrate over half a century in business
The Aerosmith have announced a 40-date farewell tour to celebrate over half a century in business. And it will be the last time ‘on the road’ for the US rock band famous for hits like “Dream On”, “Walk This Way” and “I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing”. The 40-date tour of North America entitled “Peace Out” will begin in Philadelphia on September 2, 2023 and conclude on January 26, 2024 in Montreal, Canada. A New Year’s concert is planned in Boston, the band’s hometown in 1970.
All of Aerosmith’s members – guitarist Joe Perry, frontman Steven Tyler, bassist Tom Hamilton, drummer Joey Kramer and guitarist Brad Whitford – are all over 70 and the band is “about time to take stock”. The Black Crowes will open the concerts.
Each concert will celebrate Aerosmith’s “five decades of groundbreaking achievements, celebrating 50 years as America’s biggest rock band.” In a joint statement, Aerosmith said, “It’s not goodbye, it’s Peace Out! Get ready and walk this way, you’re going to have the best show of our lives.” At the moment there is no news if the tour will also arrive in Europe.
