Ambrosetti Forum in Cernobbio: program and guests of the 2022 edition

This year the appointment with the Ambrosetti Forum, now in its 48th edition, runs from 2 to 4 September. Internationality is the element that characterizes the appointment that The European House – Ambrosetti organizes at Villa d’Este, also known as the “Forum di Cernobbio”. The “Scenario of today and tomorrow for competitive strategies”, the official name of the event, since 1975 has welcomed a parterre of high-level speakers from the political, academic, institutional and entrepreneurial worlds. The three days

As in the last two years, that of the Forum will be a phygital initiative (partly physical and partly digital), with a central hub in the historic headquarters of Villa d’Este and other different hubs in other locations in Italy, in Europe and in the world. . The first day is dedicated to major global issues with an above all economic, geopolitical and scientific / technological slant. A videoconference contribution from the President of Ukraine Zelensky is expected. The second day is focused on Europe and a message from the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella is expected. Finally, the third day will be dedicated to Italy, thanks to the presence of representatives of the government, the political world as well as authorities and prominent figures from the business and financial world.

The arguments

The topics envisaged for this edition are many: ranging from “The global challenges of the future and the impacts on the economy – The clash has taken place: what now?”, To the “Economic framework”, up to “Today the world of tomorrow – Scientific and technological developments “and” The society of the future – how we will live and interact in the future “. And again: “Country Focus USA”, “Agenda for Europe”, “Govern the energy transition”, “Building a common European defense policy” and “The Peres Heritage Initiative: building the future through young talents”.
