It starts tonight immediately with Lovegang126 Rock in Rome at the Ippodromo delle Capannelle. From 8 June to 22 September rock and rap concerts will take place in three locations: Capannelle, Circus Maximus and Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone. The event, organized by The Base of Maximiliano Bucci and Sergio Giuliani, artistic directors, with the consultancy of Armando Perticaroli, has reached its thirteenth edition after the two-year break due to Covid. The Arctic Monkeys are back for the second time, together with other important names such as Imagine Dragons, Paul Weller, Maluma and Italians such as Article 31, Lazza, Geolier, Coma_Cose. New this year are the Hit Week Talent finals, in which 8 finalists of the Hit Week 2023 contest will perform, the most important festival in the world dedicated to the diffusion of Italian music and culture. The two winners will open the shows in Miami and Los Angeles. Furthermore, for the first time a Roma Pride concert was included in the festival, Rock Me Pride powered by Muccassassina and artistically directed by Diego Longobardi, in which 50 artists will sing on Saturday 10 June at the Ippodromo delle Capannelle, including godmothers Paola & Chiara, Big Mama, Sem&Stènn, Vergo and the winners of the first and second season of Drag Race Italia, Elecktra Bionic and La Diamond. In console from Brazil there will be Tommy Love, Bradshaw, Jonathan Heitch, Dj Anto, Dominik, Tompi (Latte Fresco).
“Such an important project gives you the strength to be determined – says Sergio Giuliani – The invisible soul of the festival is a social project of inclusion, in which all people are welcomed.
