But around 17:30 (GMT) Musk (worth $184.9 billion) was again ahead of Bernard Arnault ($184.7 billion). Indian businessman Gautam Adani (134.8 billion) was in third place, while Amazon founder Jeff Bezos (111.3 billion) was in fourth place. Bernard Arnault had already occupied the first place for a few hours in May 2021. The fortune of the French billionaire has recently benefited from the leap in the results of Lvmh, the main luxury goods company in the world, whose net profit has reached 12 billion euros in 2021.
