Over 280 players from 14 countries
At the Foro Italico, from Friday 19th to Sunday 21st November, appointment with the European Champions League of table football, the first international event entrusted by the International Table Soccer Federation to the Italian Federation of Traditional Games and Sports and organized by the Figest Calcio Balilla sector. More than 280 players, divided into 20 men’s and 10 women’s clubs, will give life to the competition that will see 14 Nations challenge each other with delegations obviously coming from Italy but also from Armenia, Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, from France, Germany, England, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia and Switzerland.
The presentation ceremony of the European Champions League in table football saw the participation of the national president of Figest, Enzo Casadidio, the president of Coni, Giovanni Malagò, the secretary of the national CONI, Carlo Mornati, the president of the International Table Soccer Federation, Farid Lounas, the vice president, Klaus Gottesleben, and the president of the FIGeST table football sector, Nicola Colacicco. Also present was the Councilor for Sport, Tourism and major events of the Municipality of Rome, Alessandro Onorato.
