Circuito Cinema presents the first edition of Cannes Mon Amourthe film festival that screens in theaters, in preview, the films presented at the Cannes Film Festival 2023. From 17 to 27 Julysimultaneously between Rome, Milan, Turin, Bologna And Florencewill therefore be screened in the original subtitled version ten moviesamong which Asteroid City by Wes Anderson, About dry grasses by Nuri Bilge Ceylan e Jeanne Du Barry – the King’s favourite by Maïwenn starring Johnny Depp as Louis XV.
Cannes Mon Amour
Thanks to the Cannes Mon Amour project, and the work of institutions in the film sector, the films of the Palme d’Or festival arrive for the first time in five cities and not only in Rome and Milan, as was the case in previous years. The appointments, therefore, will be held in the Giulio Cesare cinema and 4 Fontane in Rome, at the Anteo cinema and the Colosseum in Milan, at the National cinema in Turin, at the Rialto cinema in Bologna and finally at the Fiorella cinema in Florence.

The films screened in the original subtitled version are: Fallen leaves by Aki Kaurismäki (Jury Prize), Monsters by Hirokazu Kore-eda (Plama for Best Screenplay), About dry grasses by Nuri Bilge Ceylan (Palma for Best Actress to Merve Dizdar), Perfect days by Wim Wenders (Palma for Best Actor to Koji Yakusho), Jeanne Du Barry – the King’s favourite by Maïwenn (Opening film), the films in competition The old oak by Ken Loach, Youth (Spring) by Wang Bing, Asteroid City by Wes Anderson, May December by Todd Haynes and, finally, the documentary presented as a Special Screening at the festival, Anselm by Wim Wenders.
