From tomorrow the Civil Protection extends the notice. Yellow alert in Abruzzo, Molise and sectors of Emilia-Romagna, Marche, Umbria, Campania and Basilicata
The perturbation that is affecting Italy will continue in the next few hours to bring about conditions marked bad weather with precipitation, even snowy at low altitudes on the central-northern and sustained north-eastern ventilation on the central-northern Adriatic areas. On the basis of the forecasts available, the Civil Protection Department, in agreement with the regions involved, has issued a further warning of adverse weather conditions extending those issued in the previous days. The weather phenomena, impacting on the various areas of the country, could lead to hydrogeological and hydraulic problems.
The notice predicts from the early hours of tomorrow snowfall scattered, above 200-400 m, in Emilia-Romagna, Veneto, south-western Lombardy and southern Piedmont, with local and temporary borders at flat altitudes and, above 300-500 m, in Tuscany, Umbria and the Marches, with moderate contributions to the soil, up to abundant at higher altitudes; scattered precipitations, even with showers o thunderstormon Emilia-Romagna, Marche and the persistence of the same on Campania; strong or gale force winds north-eastern regions, with strong storm gusts, on the coastal sectors of Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia and the persistence of the same, with strong storm gusts, especially close to the coastal sectors, on Emilia-Romagna and Marche. Sea storms along exposed coasts.
On the basis of the expected phenomena, it was evaluated for the day of orange alert tomorrow on sectors of Emilia-Romagna and Marche. Yellow alert was also assessed on Abruzzo, Molise and on sectors of Emilia-Romagna, Marche, Umbria, Campania and Basilicata.
