Last Tuesday, at the rally CinemaCon at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, the Oscar-nominated director Greta Gerwig and the actors Margot Robbie And Ryan Gosling participated in the panel dedicated to the film Barbieexpected in theaters on July 20, 2023

The actor, who also appeared on stage alongside his co-star America Ferreira (The cast also includes, among others, Dua Lipa, Simu Liu, Helen Mirren, John Cena And Will Ferrell), admitted that “up to this point, I only knew Ken from afar. I didn’t know Ken from the inside. I questioned my Kenergy”

Director Gerwig recounted the birth of the screenplay, written with her longtime partner Noah Baumbach: “We were making each other laugh and then we got to the end and started making each other cry. He thought it was very good and maybe he wanted to direct it. And I said, “step aside“. There was a point where I was so in love with it that I couldn’t imagine anyone else doing it”

In the clip, Barbie is enjoying the good life partying on Pink Beach in the company of the other dolls and Ken, at least until unusual phenomena how cold showers, burnt waffles, wacky haircuts, and weird-smelling basements don’t shake the residents of Barbie Land.
