The CEO of McDonald’s Italia, Dario Baroni, on the sidelines of the initiative “Giving value to Italy: the protagonists of Made in Italy in comparison on the value of supply chains and territories”
“McDonald’s continues with its strategy of support and investment for Made in Italy. Last year we reached the record figure of 370 million euros invested in Italian agri-food supply chains, but by 2023 we expect to exceed 400 million”. So the managing director of McDonald’s Italia, Dario Baroni, on the sidelines of the initiative “Giving value to Italy: the protagonists of Made in Italy in comparison on the value of supply chains and territories”, held in Rome at the Ara Pacis.
“Today – he added – McDonald’s is introducing its new communication platform which will be called i’m Lovin’ it Italy”. Baroni underlined that “we are adding the word Italy to our payoff which implies our commitment to the country, the Italian spirit and the quality of our ingredients”. “But – he concluded – it is also a commitment to the environment, to the local communities in which we operate and to all the people who work for us in Italy. It is on these values that we develop our projects”.
