The most fascinating and exciting adventure, the Sky Original show created by Banijay Italia, is upon us and will see this year’s couples explore fantastic, insidious and surprising territories and get to know extraordinary cultures far from their own. (THE SPECIAL).

The travel itinerary

The itinerary of this season will develop – in ten episodes – along “The way to India”: the departure will be in the metropolis mumbaithe first stage of a route that will lead the competitors to discover India, a multifaceted and enormous country in Southeast Asia, the second most populous in the world, then a race towards the Malaysian Borneo and finally direction Cambodiawhere the final goal of this edition will be placed in the fantastic scenery of Angkor, the most important archaeological site in the country as well as one of the most important and most visited in the Asian continent.

Guiding the protagonists of this year’s adventure is back Costantino della Gherardescaand Enzo Miccio.

The adventure of this edition of “Beijing Express” – starting from Thursday 9 March at 21.15 exclusively on Sky Uno and streaming only on NOW, always available on demand and visible on Sky Go – covered over 8 thousand km during the 37 days of filming, for a total of over 3,500 hours and 13,000 hours of editing. The troupe consisted of 120 people (plus two doctors) with 20 cameras thanks to which about 40 terabytes of total footage were made (500 gigabytes of these thanks to the three drones used during the itinerary). 10,000 liters of water were consumed during filming.

To ensure the safety of everyone involvedduring the trip, registered last autumn, a strict COVID protocol was respected, defined for the program according to the regulations in force at the time of registration.
