Bergamo, Mazzoncini (A2A): “Local stakeholders projected towards a vision of the future”

“It was very interesting to meet the local stakeholders which are increasingly projected together with us towards a vision of the future, in which it is needed anticipating what is happening on climate change rather than adapting. Anticipating means making long-term industrial plans, having a clear vision of what investments to make, what are the elements for decarbonisation: many actions that we must also take in Bergamo”. Renato Mazzoncini, CEO of A2A on the sidelines of the eighth edition of the Bergamo Territorial Sustainability Report.

The report, which reports on the Group’s environmental, economic and social performance in the area in 2022 and the activity plans envisaged for the coming years, underlines the strong desire to keep the dialogue open with the area: “I would say that A2A in Bergamo provides many services, almost all the important services for the city, from public lighting to city cleaning. We have a very important customer base, so Bergamo is an absolutely essential city in which to invest and experiment with a new relationship for the energy transition”.
