The Italian singer-songwriter, born in Pavia on 14 November 1967 and a pop icon of Italian music, has marked entire generations of fans through his music. Happy Birthday Max!

Pezzali has been passionate about music and rock since he was young. At high school he met Mauro Repetto, with whom a successful partnership was born, whose maximum expression would be the 90s musical group “883”.

The band, whose name is a tribute to the displacement of a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, soon achieved success thanks to singles that entered the history of Italian pop music such as “Hanno Killed the Spider-Man”, from 1992, taken from the album of the same name, and the following year “Nord southwest est” with hits such as “Sei un mito” and “Come mai”

The success continues even after Repetto leaves the group. In fact, since 1994, Pezzali has become the band’s main composer

The success continues with other recording chapters that have become true cults of the Italian pop scene, including “La dura legge del gol” in 1997, the collection “Gli anni” in 1998 or ” Grazie mille” in 1999

On 2 April 2005 he married Martina Marinucci, with whom he had a son called Hilo. The couple separated in August 2013. After the end of this story he began a relationship with Debora Pelamatti (in the photo), with whom he married in secret in April 2019

In 2004 the story with “883” ended and his solo career began, inaugurated with “The world together with you”. Released that same year, the album’s success was certified by two platinum discs for 250,000 copies sold.

In 2005 “TuttoMax” was released, a collection of his and 883’s hits and, after a year’s break for the artist, in 2007 a new album entitled “Time out” was released. While in 2013 it was the turn of “Max20”, a record made with 883 and other Italian artists

In 2017 Max Pezzali celebrated 25 years of career

The milestone was celebrated with the album “Le canzone alla radio”, a collection made up of 37 songs which, in addition to the single that gives the album its title, also include the great successes of the past made with the 883 and the pieces from soloist

The collection released on the occasion of the 25 years of his career is followed by the collaboration with Nek and Francesco Renga, with whom he started in January 2018 on a tour that crossed the whole of Italy and ended in February in Florence

Max Pezzali is also a great fan of comics and in particular of Marvel superheroes
