Mark Hoppus told the magazine about her battle with cancer People talking about the period of depression experienced during chemotherapy. The American rocker, famous member of Blink-182, also talked about future projects.

The musician has decided to open up to People showing a part of his private life. In recent months, Mark Hoppus has undergone chemotherapy to eradicate cancer.

The rocker talked about the dark period he experienced during the battle, also faced with the constant and important support of his wife: “I was in our living room, crying and saying to my wife ‘I don’t know if I can do it'”.

The rocker continued: “She said to me ‘So what do you want to do? Kill you?’ And that was exactly what I was thinking about. It was a really dark time ”.

Mark Hoppus added: “The chemotherapy was brutal. I had no energy and ended up sitting on the sofa trying to get through the day ”.

The rocker then declared a People: “I feel like I have a second chance in life”.

Later, the musician talked about the possible reunion with the group of All The Small Things: “I keep writing music and I’m open to whatever the next phase of Blink is.”
