“Everything is ready at the Federal Technical Center of Rome for the Absolute Italian Championships, which will see 231 athletes of the Raffa, Volo and Petanque specialties on the field on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 November 2021, competing for the ten Italian titles up for grabs”. For the second time, after the 2019 edition, the tricolor competition will be staged with all the traditional specialties of the bowling discipline together in a single location.
The event, not held in 2020 due to the health emergency, was re-proposed by the Italian Bocce Federation, with the patronage and contribution of the Lazio Region which joins that of the institutional sponsors Erreà and Perfetta, after the success of two years ago. Ten Italian titles of category A will be awarded: four of the Raffa (Individual male and female, male couple and male tern), four of the Volo (Male and Female Precision Shooting, Male and Female Progressive Shooting) and two of the Petanque (Individual female and Women’s Precision Shot).
Live streaming from the Federal Technical Center and for both competition days is scheduled for the awaited event on the Facebook page of the Italian Bocce Federation and on the federal Youtube channel. In addition, RaiSport (channel 57 of digital terrestrial) will broadcast a deferred of the highlights of the Italian finals.
Raffa’s Absolute Italian Championships will begin at 9 on Saturday 20 November 2021 with the elimination rounds of the men’s individual, whose semifinals will take place at 20 in the Torrino sports center. At 3 pm on Saturday 20, the tricolor competitions of the Couple and Terna for men will also start (semifinals from 9 pm), as well as the women’s individual, whose semifinals are scheduled at 8 pm. The four finals are scheduled for Sunday 21 November: at 9 am Terna male and female Individual, at 11 the male Individual and Couple.
The Italian Absolute Flight Championships will start from 9 on Saturday 20 with the first test of the women’s Progressive Shooting and from 9.45 with the 1st test of the men’s Progressive Shooting. At 10.45 the women’s precision shooting is scheduled, at 11.30 the men’s precision shooting. The second tests are scheduled for the afternoon. The semifinals are scheduled at 8 pm. The finals are scheduled for Sunday 21st: at 10 am for the men’s and women’s precision shooting, at 12 pm for the men’s progressive shooting.
The Italian Absolute Championships in Petanque will also start on Saturday 20 at 9.30 with the first round of the Women’s Individual Poule (semifinals at 19); while, at 10.30 the second round is scheduled, at 11.30 the recoveries. From 2 pm the two women’s precision shooting tests are scheduled. Sunday 21 is the day of the tricolor finals: at 9 am for the women’s individual, at 10.30 for the women’s precision shooting.
