Defense ministers of 14 NATO countries and of Finland they met in Brussels to sign a letter of intent for the development of a ‘European Sky Shield Initiative’. Furthermore, the alliance of 14 countries is nothing more than “a leading group” and in the future it is expected that “other NATO nations” participate, including “Italy”. This was announced by a senior diplomatic source on the sidelines of the Ministerial Defense underway in Brussels. “This is an open platform – explains the source – which aims to network national industries and therefore will be of benefit to all participants”
