Borsa Milano today, Piazza Affari rises: the spread is also up

Day in chiaroscuro for the European stock exchanges, with US futures in the red. Following a more than expected slowdown in UK inflation, markets have absorbed the decline in industrial production in the European Union. Still waiting, however, for the next moves of the American and European central banks on possible new interest rate hikes.

At the TTF in Amsterdam, the price of gas is around 54 euros per megawatt hour. The value of oil continues to decline, with Brent and Wti decreasing by 1%. In Milan, the Ftse Mib gains 0.13% and closes at 27,533.69. The spread between Btp and German Bund increases, around 178 basis points. The yield on the 10-year bond grew a lot, hovering around 4.3%.

On the main list of Piazza Affari, Tim did well (+0.44%), with the managing director Pietro Labriola who presented the industrial plan to the analysts. Campari (+1.22%), Ferrari (+1.26%) and Pirelli (+1.17%) also rose. The latter is on the rise after Bloomberg’s reconstruction according to which the Chinese of Sinochem are considering the sale of the stake or part of it in the company, even if a decision has not yet been made.

At the end, however, Italgas (-2.84%), on which the shareholder Snam (-0.50%) denied the press rumors about possible financial transactions. Iveco (-0.90%), Saipem (-2.01%), Unicredit (-1.32%), Azimut (-3.15%) and Diasorin (-1.61%) also fell. (in collaboration with
