“I found absolutely disgusting that the people who were in her life when she didn’t have a say came to tell her story as if it were their own.” Last Sunday Sam Asgharihusband of Britney Spears, has published a video in the Instagram stories to criticize the new documentary TMZ Investigates: Britney Spears: The Price of Freedom produced by the news site tmz extension. As reported by Page Sixthe documentary tells controversial aspects of the life of the 41-year-old American pop star, who was taken away from the legal guardianship of her father Jamie Spears last November.
A DARK TALE
In the documentary the executive producer of tmz extension Charles Latibeaudiere says Britney spends most of her time indoors “in a virtual isolation”. According to news director Brad Appleton, the pop star “sometimes drives down a quiet dirt road, parks and meditates”, while according to editorial director Fabian Garcia “she sleeps a lot. Sometimes he sleeps for days…sleeps uninterruptedly for three days, and then doesn’t sleep at all for the next ones”. News site founder Harvey Levin then describes Britney’s alleged “fascination with knives,” who “is mortally afraid that someone will show up in the middle of the night, strap her to a gurney and take her to a mental hospital,” and delve into its alleged marriage crisis. The producer of tmz extension Katie Hayes, on the other hand, talks about theremoval of children Sean Preston and Jayden James, 17 and 16, who have not seen their mother for over a year. “Suddenly, after 15 years when she’s free after all the manipulations, all the things that she’s been through, now you put her under a magnifying glass and tell her story about her? Don’t do it, and don’t believe what you read online,” concluded Asghari in his social outburst.
