Bronze statues of Mick Jagger and Keith Richards unveiled in their home town of Dartford

Mick Jagger and Keith Richards they now have two bronze statues in the center of their hometown, Dartfordin the English county of Kent. The inauguration ceremony was held today, August 9, in the presence of the author of the statues, the local authorities and Richards’ daughter and granddaughter, Angela and Ava. The address to keep in mind for fans of Rolling Stonesin case you pass by the parts of Dartford, is that of One Bell Corner, High Streetin the spaces in front of the Dartford Industry Mural

Just a few days ago, on July 26, Jagger turned 80

Going around Dartford you can already walk down several streets named after Stones songs, from Little Red Walk to Ruby Tuesday Drive

And there are already those who draw a comparison with the statues of the two Stones and those on the seafront of Liverpool dedicated to Beatlesunveiled to the public in 2015, at Pier Head, and created by sculptor Andy Edwards
