TERROR IN BRUSSELS
- A man armed with a Kalashnikov opened fire shortly after 7pm in the center of Brussels, on Boulevard d’Ypres. He killed two people and injured others. The victims are Swedish citizens, it is assumed fans who were supposed to attend the Belgium-Sweden match which was first suspended and then definitively canceled

THE FANS BLOCKED
- The fans were stuck inside the King Baudouin stadium in Brussels waiting to understand from the authorities what procedures to put in place for the evacuation

- Inside the stadium, which is not completely full but has around 30 thousand spectators, everything remained under control but it was decided between the Belgian authorities and UEFA to first suspend and then definitively interrupt the match with the first half ending on the score by 1-1

THE GESTURE OF SOLIDARITY
- Gesture of solidarity from the Belgians towards the Swedes, after the match between the two national teams was suspended following the attack in the center of Brussels. The fans stuck inside the stadium all together lit up their mobile phone torches as a sign of solidarity with the Swedish victims of the attacker. Several rounds of applause were directed towards the stands where the Sweden fans were sitting.
