Businesses, Conou-Customs Agency agreement on environmental contribution

At the end of a long and careful joint work, the Customs and Monopolies Agency (Adm)in the person of the director Oliviero, and the National Consortium for Used Oils (Conou)with its president Riccardo Piunti,signed today, August 30, an agreement aimed at “a more precise and effective management of the environmental contributions collected by Customs on lubricants imported into Italy and a more stringent control of any evasion by the companies that release them for consumption in Italy “, Conou explains in a statement.

Thanking the Customs and Monopolies Agency for the great cooperation and understanding of the Consortium’s needs, President Piunti declared that “this is an important step in our strategy which contemplates the collection of used oil ‘down to the last drop’ ‘, but also the collection of the contribution ‘up to the last euro’”.

Oliviero, for his part, remarked that “The Customs and Monopolies Agency is always at the service of citizens, businesses and institutions. With the signing of this agreement, ADM is alongside Conou, a consortium that has achieved results of excellence in Europe, in pursuing its mission of environmental protection”.
