Minors are accused of torture, kidnapping, threats, aggravated injuries and the carrying of objects capable of offending
Two fifteen year olds were arrested by the Carabinieri of Caltanissetta for having kidnapped a thirteen year old in a garage and beaten for an hour and a half. The precautionary measure of placement in a juvenile penitentiary institution was issued by the investigating judge of the Juvenile Court of Caltanissetta following an articulated investigative activity coordinated by the Public Prosecutor for minors Rocco Cosentino and conducted by the Operational Section of the Carabinieri. The two fifteen-year-olds are seriously suspected, for various reasons, of torture, kidnapping, threats, aggravated injuries and the carrying of objects capable of offending.
According to what was reconstructed by the investigators, in the month of September, the two deceived a thirteen-year-old boy into a garage owned by one of the two, locking him in a chair and tying his ankles, wrists and mouth with packing tape. Then they allegedly slapped him all over his body, spitting in his face and intimidating him with work tools and a knife, as well as pouring water soaked in motor oil on him and threatening to set him on fire. After about an hour and a half, the thirteen year old would have been released with the further threat of death if he had told anyone what happened.
The motive would be due to the will of the two minors to take revenge on the victim, guilty of having expressed his disappointment with other people for some attacks that the two allegedly carried out against some of his friends.
