Canada, nurse tries to resuscitate accident victim then discovers it’s her daughter

The girl’s face was unrecognizable from the injuries sustained in the car accident. For this reason the nurse who rescued her, trying to keep her alive, did not recognize that she was her daughter. The tragedy occurred in Canada, in a town near Alberta. Paramedic Jayme Erickson attempted to resuscitate the victim for 20 minutes only to realize that she was her 17-year-old Montana’s only child. “My worst nightmare has come true,” she wrote on Twitter the woman.

She only discovers that the victim is her daughter after returning home

Arriving first at the scene of the accident with a colleague, nurse Jayme Erickson finds a car hit by a truck in which there were two teenagers. While firefighters try to dig the bodies out of the wreckage of the vehicle, Erickson tends to the young girl who is on the passenger side. “I tried to do everything I could to keep her alive” the woman later said. The situation is desperate. The girl’s face is disfigured. The young woman is taken to hospital by helicopter, while the nurse returns home. Shortly after “The paramedic receives a visit from the police who inform her that her daughter Montana has been the victim of an accident. The woman goes to the hospital and discovers that it is the girl who had tried to resuscitate. “The seriously injured patient I had just taken care of it was blood of my blood” reads his facebook profile. The seventeen year old died three days later. The friend and the truck driver were saved.
