After Porto Empedocle and Pozzallo, CasaPound returns to the square “against illegal immigration and NGOs”: the demonstration will be on Saturday 20, at 6.30 pm, at Porta Spagnola, in Augusta, “a symbolic place”. “Augusta – reads a note from the movement – it is one of the Italian cities with the highest number of landings and here is also the Monument to the Fallen of the Sea which houses a slab of the royal submarine Scirè, sunk on 10 August 1942 by an English corvette, and gone down in history for transporting the slow-running torpedoes employed in the Alexandria enterprise. A monument, therefore, which represents the sacred, the heroism of so many Italians that today contrasts with the ignoble presence of NGOs, which favor and encourage the daily landing of illegal immigrants. Ours wants to be a constant complaint against those who have decided to make money on human trafficking and row against our nation. Against all those politicians who to date, despite so many words, have never actually taken the field to counter a situation that is now unacceptable ”.
And the heavy role of the European Union in all this should not be forgotten. “The recent ruling of the EU Court of Justice which establishes how NGO ships cannot be subjected to administrative detentions except in a case of clear danger to the safety, health or environment of the European Union is shameful – concludes the note – The EU’s intention is clear, to make Italy an open-air refugee camp. We are not there and with this demonstration we intend to reiterate it even more forcefully “.
