Christmas, over 500 Unicef ​​suspended gifts donated by the Lazio Regional Council

On the occasion of Christmas the Lazio Regional Council has decided to give concrete support to many children in difficulty, supporting the initiative of Unicef ​​Italia ‘Suspended gift” created in collaboration with Clementoni: over 500 children hospitalized in the pediatric wards of Lazio – some of them in pediatric oncology – will receive special play kits.

The initiative was presented today in Rome, during a press conference at the Policlinico Umberto I attended by: Daniele Leodori, Vice President of the Lazio Region; Rodolfo Lena, President of the Health Commission of the Lazio Region; Paolo Rozera, General Director of Unicef ​​Italy; Fabrizio d’Alba, General Director of the Umberto I Polyclinic; Pierpaolo Clementoni, Director of Advanced Research and Clementoni Test Area.

Three special deliveries of suspended gifts: at the end of the Conference, a delegation with the Spokesperson of Unicef ​​Italy Andrea Iacomini distributed the suspended gifts in the Umberto I Polyclinic University Hospital and immediately after at the Bambino Gesù Pediatric Hospital; tomorrow at 1 pm, at the Agostino Gemelli Irccs University Hospital Foundation in Rome, the third delivery of the suspended gifts will take place in Rome.

The “suspended gift” is an initiative of Unicef ​​Italy, created this year in collaboration with Clementoni, with the aim of deliver to 2,000 children – housed in hospitals and family homes in Italy – special play kits created by the Roman street artist Merioone, and helping many vulnerable children around the world. Each Gift consists of an activity book, puzzle, coloring kit and mime cards.
