Colapesce Dimartino, the new album Lux Eterna Beach will be released on November 3rd

Lorenzo Urciullo and Antonio Di Martino, aka Colapesce Dimartinothey surprisingly announced a new album. Lux Eterna Beach will be released on November 3 but, from 2.00 pm on Friday 13 October, it will be available as a preview new single: The light that cuts across the beach made everyone agree.

New single, new album and a tour starting

For Colapesce Dimartinothis is a period definitely full of news.

Fresh from the extraordinary success of Splash (Mia Martini Critics Award and the Lucio Dalla Award at the last Sanremo Festival) and from his film debut in The spring of my life, Italy’s most loved duo is back. The light that cuts across the beach made everyone agree it’s a manifesto song, and an authentic praise to creative freedom. A piece of music, masterfully constructed by Federico Nardelli and Giordano Colombo, suspended in a dreamlike realm in which the Italian songwriting tradition blends harmoniously with the kraut rockis intertwined with the modern pop and rises into space. Or rather, he dives into the sea depths among luminescent creatures.

Colapesce Dimartino, the tour

Colapesce Dimartino fans will be able to listen Lux Eterna Beach on the tour close to departure.

The Club Tour 2023 will start on November 23rd from Estragon in Bologna, and will continue in the main Italian clubs. And it will end in Sicily with two sold-out dates in Palermo (Wednesday 13 and Thursday 14 December, Candelai) and one a Catania (Friday 15 December, Land La Nuova Dogana).

The career of Colapesce Dimartino

In the beginning, Lorenzo and Antonio were “only” two authors of musical pieces among the most sought after and influential in Italy. And I still am today. But they are also two very loved singer-songwriters, both by the public and by critics.

Over the years, both have left an indelible mark, both through their own solo projectssuch as the recognition with the Targa Tenco “best first work” for Colapesce’s first album, and through successful compositions such as The world is Ourswritten by Dimartino for Tiziano Ferro.

Furthermore, they established collaborations prestigious with artists of the caliber of Ornella Vanoni, Luca Guadagnino, Cerrone and Fabri Fibra.

In 2022 they published Crazy thingsa song written for the soundtrack of the original series The Bad Guy. And, subsequently, they also debuted in the cinema.

However, their first love is music, e.g The light that cuts across the beach made everyone agree it proves it.
