Confindustria Nautica at Boot Dusseldorf, support for Italian companies

From tomorrow Confindustria Nautica will be present at the 54th edition of the Boot in Düsseldorf (scheduled until 29 January), with an institutional stand (Hall 7 A / G09) to continue the promotion activity abroad and support for internationalization of Italian companies. At Boot, the trade association that represents the entire pleasure boating industry chain in Italy will be – underlined in a note – “the point of reference for the 110 Italian companies present, as well as for Italian and international operators who will visit the exhibition”.

The Düsseldorf Boot will also be an opportunity to continue the promotion of the 63rd International Boat Show which will be held in Genoa from 21 to 26 September next, after the stops at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show and the METS in Amsterdam where they have already mentioned news and new format.

Confindustria Nautica and I Saloni Nautici are in fact already working on the 2023 edition which will take place in a constantly evolving area, home to the project for the new Eastern Waterfront, designed by starchitect Renzo Piano which will be completed in 2024, characterizing the Salone Nautico di Genova as one of the most interesting locations in the panorama of international boat shows.

Confindustria Nautica’s participation in the Boot is also strategic in terms of international comparison. In fact, at the German boat show, the representatives of the Association will take part in the Council at the beginning of the year and in the General Assembly of the European federation EBI – European Boating Industry of which the Association is a member: among the main topics to be addressed in 2023 are report the implementation of the European Green Deal, the future revision of the RCD directive and the analysis of the development of the second set of criteria of the European taxonomy. Confindustria Nautica will also participate in the associative meeting of ICOMIA (International Council of Marine Industry Associations which brings together over 40 national nautical federations of the world) “Metstrade debrief meeting”, an opportunity to make a summary of the national collectives organized at the Amsterdam held last November.

Saverio Cecchi, President of Confindustria Nautica, underlines how “the Association is once again the point of reference for the excellence of nautical Made in Italy at the Boot in Düsseldorf after a two-year stop due to the pandemic. In these complex years, we have consolidated and strengthened our role of representation and promotion, in Italy and abroad, of the entire Italian pleasure boating chain.A sector that has continued to grow, recording an historic export record in 2022 and which, in the superyacht sector, has 50% of the world market”.

Confindustria Nautica’s plan for international attendance and the promotion of the 63rd Genoa International Boat Show at the main foreign events in the sector includes, for 2023, in addition to the Boot in Düsseldorf, participation in the Miami International Boat Show (February 15-19) , the Dubai International Boat Show (March 1 – 5), the Palm Beach International Boat Show (March 23 – 26), the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show (October 25 – 29) and MetsTrade i Amsterdam (November 15 – 17).
