Confindustria Nautica presents the 62nd Genoa Boat Show from 22 to 27 September

Countdown to the Genoa International Boat Show. The press conference for the presentation of the 62nd edition of the event was held today in the Ligurian capital, at Palazzo della Meridiana, organized by Confindustria Nautica and the subsidiary I Saloni nautici, scheduled from 22 to 27 September. The first nautical event in the Mediterranean is presented with a renewed layout that already looks at the complete renovation of the Levante Waterfront, redesigned by the architect Renzo Piano, who from next year will return to the exhibition new docks, ground exhibition spaces, hotels, services, underground parking lots. Capitalizing on the extraordinary editions, and in contrast to the European panorama, of 2020 and 2021, the 62nd edition presents itself with exceptional numbers.

In conclusion, Lorenzo Cuocolo professor of sustainable development law at the Bocconi University of Milan illustrated the contents of the Sustainability Honor Code that will be adopted by I Saloni Nautici in a national and European preview: a charter of values ​​on sustainability that supports the detailed rules, and which aims to share the values ​​of sustainability not only from an environmental point of view, but also from a social and governance point of view.

In the context of Sailing World, the title of flagship of sailing monohulls goes to the Mylius 80 of Mylius Yacht, with a hull length of 23.43 meters. In the Yacht Superyacht world, the flagship is the SD 118 of Sanlorenzo Yachts, which with its 35.75 meters in length is the largest hull of the shipyard’s asymmetrical line.
