AdnKronos expresses its closeness to Gianni Letta and to the other family members of his brother Corrado Letta, who died in Avezzano last Saturday 6 May, at the age of 83. The Press Agency led by Cavaliere del Lavoro Giuseppe Marra fondly remembers the professor, who has always been committed to international cooperation, at the service of the community.
An expert in international relations, Corrado Letta had a doctorate in Economics from the University of Pisa. Over the years he has been a member of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, the East Asia Institute, the Independent Institute, the Yangon Institute of International Studies and Strategies (Myanmar), the National Bureau of Asian Research (NBR), the Institute of World Development (IWD), and the Northwestern University Transportation Center.
To his credit over 30 publications on various topics, with the main focus on international relations between East Asia and Latin America. He was also a photographer and painter and has exhibited in important museums in the United States, Australia, Europe and Indonesia.
