Dostoevsky, the teaser of the D’Innocenzo brothers’ series

The teaser was released today revealing the first images of Dostoevsky, the Sky Original series created, written and directed by the D’Innocenzo Brothers, which will be presented as a world premiere at the 74th edition of the Berlin International Film Festival, in the Berlinale Special section. The series will soon arrive in cinemas with Vision Distribution.

The directors

Fabio and Damiano D’Innocenzo linked their names to the Berlinale already at the time of their brilliant debut with The land of enoughpresented in the Panorama section of the Festival in 2018, and then went on to win the Silver Bear for Screenplay with their second work, Fairy talesselected for the 2020 competition.


Dostoevskya Sky Studios production produced with Paco Cinematografica, is a noir starring Filippo Timi (WIN, The BarLume crimes, The eight mountains) as a tormented policeman with a painful past. With him in the cast Gabriel Montesi (Fairy tales), Carlotta Gamba (Latin America) and Federico Vanni.


In a patch of bare and inhospitable land, the policeman Enzo Vitello, a man with a dark past, is obsessed with Dostoevskya serial killer who kills with a peculiarity: next to the body the murderer always leaves a letter with his own desolate and very clear vision of the world, of life and of the darkness that Vitello feels resounding within him.
