Governor Luca Zaia launches a appeal to avoid wasting waterdenouncing the very serious drought that is afflicting the Veneto with the rest of the country.

“There’s no water guys, you saw it, we are in big trouble – said Zaia on the sidelines of an event – I’m not excluding an ordinance in the next few days, in the meantime I ask you to give us a hand, save water resources. Water is the greatest treasure we have, without water we cannot live. Then I hope that a great plan will be financed at the national level, that we will go ahead with the cleaning of the Alpine reservoirs, because if we remove that 40-50 percent of the debris it is 40-50% more that we can invade. And again: you have to decide to authorize the quarries in the plain as a network of reservoirsat least for agriculture, and finance the world of agriculture to reduce the dispersion of water resources, as they do in Israel”.
