EA7 Emporio Armani together with Olimpia Milano announces ‘Battle of Playgrounds’, the 3×3 basketball tournament which will take place until 24 September on the five pitches recently redeveloped by Giorgio Armani in the heart and hinterland of the city. A further initiative, this one, sponsored by the Municipality of Milan, which confirms the designer’s concrete attention towards the city and its inhabitants, and his passion for basketball.
The protagonists will be young enthusiasts of the discipline between 14 and 28 years old who will make up men’s and women’s teams divided into age groups. For the occasion, each player will receive a personalized EA7 Emporio Armani and Olimpia Milano kit. The matches will take place on the basketball courts located in the south-west area of the city, in the Moravia and Muccioli Gardens, in via Pitteri in Lambrate, in the Barona district and in Sempione Park. Following the Fiba technical regulations, the teams that pass the four qualifying stages, scheduled for the two weekends of 9/10 September (Muccioli and Barona) and 16/17 September (Moravia and Pitteri), will face each other in the finals on Sunday 24 September at the Sempione park field.
Special prizes will be up for grabs which will allow the winners to live unique experiences linked to Olimpia Milano. The tournament will also be an opportunity to involve adults and children in entertainment activities, in the name of fun, sport and inclusiveness.
