Two earthquakes of magnitude 2.7 and 1.5 were recorded between last night and this morning in the Campi Flegrei area, in the province of Naples. The mayor of Bacoli, Josi Gerardo Della Ragione, in a post published on Facebook reassured the citizens by explaining that no damage to persons or property was recorded. The second quake, of magnitude 1.5, occurred this morning at 7.30 with the epicenter located at a depth of 1.8 km in the Pisciarelli area, between the municipalities of Naples and Pozzuoli, an area characterized by the presence of fumaroles. The mayor of Pozzuoli, Gigi Manzoni, makes it known that “checks are underway on the territory by the municipal police and civil protection volunteers”. Also in this case there are no damages to people or things.
