The president of Fratelli d’Italia told Reuters: “I am very cautious … No responsible person can imagine ruining the country’s finances”
“We want a different Italian attitude on the international scene, for example towards the European Commission, (but) this does not mean that we want to destroy Europe, that we want to leave Europe, that we want to do crazy things”. This was stated by the president of Fratelli d’Italia, Giorgia Meloni, in an interview that appeared on the Reuters website.
“It simply means – he added – explaining that the defense of the national interest is as important for us as it is for the French and the Germans”.
“I am very cautious … – Meloni affirmed in the interview – No responsible person, before having a complete picture of the resources that can be invested, can imagine ruining the country’s finances”.
“We have put on paper some things that depend on the state accounts … The first thing we should do would be the budget law and we clearly intend to do it within the required parameters,” said Meloni.
