Electric column bonus 2023, how does it change and who can request it? The benefit is a contribution provided by the Ministry of Economic Development with the Prime Ministerial Decree of 4 August 2022, equal to 80% of the total expenditure made to install an electric column for charging electric vehicles. 40 million euros have been allocated to the fund.

Changes

With the changes made we go from 50% of the cost incurred to 80% of the expense; it will no longer be a tax deduction, but an immediate contribution; and if previously it was aimed only at businesses, today it involves private individuals and condominiums.

Who can request it

The new 2023 electric charging station bonus, equal to a reimbursement of 80% of the expense incurred, can be requested by private individuals who wish to install charging stations in their homes and condominiums who choose to install electric vehicle charging systems in common areas.

How to request it

The bonus valid for the whole of 2023-2024 can be requested on the ministry’s platform, which is not yet active. The bonus will be paid in the form of reimbursement of expenses already incurred and documented.
