Enel, from 1 December Lanzetta will lead country Italy, Tamburi at the Pnrr

Starting from 1 December 2021 Nicola Lanzetta will take over the leadership of country Italy and that Carlo Tamburi will lead the National Recovery and Resilience Plan Project (Pnrr). This was announced by Enel in a press release.

Nicola Lanzetta, holds the position of Director of Italy of the Enel Group where since September 2014 he was in charge of the Italian Market. Nicola Lanzetta has held the role of Chairman of numerous Boards of Directors of Enel Group companies, such as Enel Energia SpA, Servizio Elettrico Nazionale SpA, Enel.si srl and Enel Sole SpA. Nicola Lanzetta began his career in 1992 in At & t / NCR Italy SpA dealing with large customers and then moving on to the world of telecommunications, working for Telecom Italia SpA and Infostrada SpA where he held the role of Trade Marketing Director and subsequently of Retail Sales Director. He joined the Enel Group in 2001, first dealing with the corporate integration and formation of Enel Gas SpA and subsequently with the launch of the Enel Energia commercial network with the first phase of liberalization of the retail market. He was Senior Vice President of Enel Energia SpA and since 2014 he has been Head of the Italian Market of Enel. He is also president of the Assolombarda Energy Group and member of the Board of Directors of Confimprese. Nicola Lanzetta graduated in Computer Science from the University of Pisa and is married with two daughters.

Carlo Tamburi holds the role of head of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (Pnrr) project with the aim of guiding the implementation of all energy transition initiatives and projects related to the Pnrr in Italy, in coordination with the of business and the staff functions involved. Carlo Tamburi will also take care of relations with institutions and relevant stakeholders for the promotion of positioning, projects and technologies.

Since July 2014, Italy Director of the Enel Group, Carlo Tamburi began his professional career in 1983 at Citibank in Milan, where he dealt with International Finance and Corporate Finance. He joined the Iri Group in 1990, first in the Cofiri Finance Company, then in the Finance Department of Via Veneto, as Head of the Privatization Processes of Large Public Companies. In 2000 he became General Manager of the Treasury Department of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, with responsibility for the Finance and Privatization Department, holding the role of Board Member of Finmeccanica, Alitalia, Wind, Consap and of Enel itself. He was President of the Tirrenia di Navigazione company.

He joined Enel in 2002, where he initially assumed responsibility for the Mergers and Acquisitions area, was subsequently appointed Director of Purchasing, Services, General Affairs and Real Estate and since 2008 he has held the position of Director of the International Division.
