From December 20 to January 9, Enel spaces are open to promote the circular economy
It’s called #Enelincircolo and it’s the new circular economy project, promoted by Cronopios and the Municipality of Bologna and Enel Energia which will take place during the holidays. The initiative is inspired by principles of sustainability and recycling and provides for the possibility of bringing disused objects to the six Spazi Enel stores in the Emilian city. Inside the stores, information banners and collection baskets have been placed in which Bolognese citizens can leave materials considered useless or that they no longer use: the list of objects to be left is long: ornaments, toys, electronic devices and much more. .
From “waste” they will find new life, transforming themselves into real works of art that will make us reflect on environmental issues placing the emphasis, as well as on recovery as a source of energy, also on the circularity of human energy. “#Enelincircolo is an initiative that involves the use of waste materials – he explains Lucia Cortini, head of the Enel Emilia Romagna Marche Market – which will become, thanks toartist Dario Tironi, artwork. Some will already be exhibited in the most visited and most commercial strategic points of the city of Bologna from 20 December. “
After the collection, the creative phase is foreseen: the waste materials will be entrusted to the hands and inspiration of the artist Dario Tironi who will use them to create the works. The citizens of Bologna will be able to get to know the goodness of the project up close through the open-air exhibition of the works created with the objects collected in the previous stages of the initiative (Milan, Padua and Verona).
The works will be exhibited in the Cortile Guido Fanti courtyard of Palazzo D’Accursio, in Corte Isolani, in the Cavour Gallery and in the Spazio Enel in Piazza Liber Paradisus. All will be accompanied by an illustrative totem and information, which will invite citizens to go to the Enel Spaces to actively participate in the project from 20 December to 9 January.
“One of the objectives of this initiative is to be increasingly aware – concludes Lucia Cortini – that also from our waste, if well recycled, it is possible to create opportunities and opportunities for beauty and of do not waste what may seem like a waste to us and which instead can become energy. Attention to recycling and circular economy, not only have effects on environmental protection, but they also produce advantages in terms of competitiveness, innovation and employment. The same principles that inspire and characterize our daily work “.
