Thus the president of Assogasliquidi-Federchimica who hosts the Lpg Week at the New Congress Center in Rome, the Nuvola, the main global event on LPG organized every year by the World Lpg Association and Liquid Gas Europe
Lpg week “is an opportunity to share the studies that have been done to demonstrate how LPG is immediately a solution capable of decarbonizing our energy consumption”. This was stated by Andrea Arzà, president of Assogasliquidi-Federchimica who hosts the Lpg Week at the New Congress Center in Rome, the Nuvola, the main global event on LPG organized every year by the World Lpg Association and Liquid Gas Europe.
Furthermore, the appointment “is an opportunity to indicate the path that the industry will have to follow in the near future with the production of new molecules capable of no longer having a fossil source in the product that we distribute every day on the market both for the consumption of cars and for those of citizens in their homes or in industries”.
On the LPG supply chain “the government has given us some positive signals, above all by proving itself open to questioning what has already been decided in Europe, i.e. the ban on internal combustion engines in the private transport sector and to fighting other threats that exist in the horizon related to eco design and in particular to the use of heating equipment in the domestic environment”.
The government’s positions, Arzà underlines, “give us hope. We are confident that, thanks to the technical and scientific results of our studies and together with the government’s action, we will be able to convince the European institutions to carry out a thorough review of the regulations that have been issued”.
We know that for air quality “LPG represents the best energy available together with natural gas. For the good of our cities and above all the health of citizens, a greater use of LPG both as a fuel and as fuel in off-grid areas is the best recipe” concludes Arzà.
