Thus the general director of Enea, on the occasion of Lpg Week, the main global event on LPG organized every year by the World Lpg Association and Liquid Gas Europe
The memorandum of understanding signed between Enea and Assogasliquidi “has the objective of activating common initiatives that look at research, innovation and technological transfer with the aim of industrializing solutions that can enter the market and contribute to the decarbonisation of transport” . This was stated by Giorgio Graditi, general director of Enea, on the occasion of Lpg Week, the main global event on LPG organized every year by the World Lpg Association and Liquid Gas Europe.
The theme, explains Graditi, “is that of biofuels and renewable biocarbons, therefore low carbon solutions that allow the transport sector to be decarbonised”. According to the general director of Enea “we need to address the issue by looking at the entire life cycle in such a way as to correctly evaluate and weigh the polluting emissions associated with the various solutions”. But we also need “incentive mechanisms that are able to encourage the development of these technologies which certainly still need research and processes linked to industrialisation”.
The agreement, therefore, concludes Graditi, “has as its objective to systematize experiences, skills and knowledge that come from two different worlds, but which must necessarily collaborate with each other, i.e. the world of research, but above all the world of users , those who make the products and those who know the market and have a full awareness of the demands and needs”.
