Engineering and Smat bring the metaverse to the Water Festival

An immersive experience that offers a virtual journey to discover the integrated water cycle

Engineering, in collaboration with Smat, brings the metaverse to the Water Festival, scheduled in Turin from 21 to 23 September. At the Smat stand, starting from the morning of September 22nd, Engineering will present the Smat Virtual Experiencea totally immersive experience created in collaboration with Smat, which exploiting new technological trends such as augmented reality and metaverse will allow you to make a virtual journey into the integrated water cycle managed by the Turin water company.

Put on the Oculus viewers, visitors will go on a “Water Journey” that will take them first into space aboard Smat’s spacecraft (since 2002 official supplier of drinking water for ‘space uses’ consumed on the International Space Station), and then land them on the Castiglione Torinese wastewater treatment plant, the largest in Italy and among the largest in Europe. The journey ends in a Smat Water Pointwhere you can toast with a virtual glass of water.
