The former Fininvest manager, who collaborated in the foundation and listing of Mediolanum, told his memory of Ennio Doris to Sky TG24. WATCH THE VIDEO

The death of the banker Ennio Doris left bitterness in Ubaldo Livolsi, who knew him well in life. Livolsi was CEO of Fininvest, the holding company founded by Silvio Berlusconi, and has long collaborated with Doris, from the foundation of Banca Mediolanum onwards (of which he was also a director). The former manager, guest at Sky TG24 Business, remembered him as “a great man, who leaves a heavy legacy. He has developed a great innovation, knowing how to lead a group of people to found a new model bank”. In fact, Mediolanum immediately set itself the goal of changing the nature of Italian banks, with a more direct relationship with the customer and with more personalized managed savings products.

Livolsi also recalled when Doris decided to repay the Italian savers customers of Mediolanum who had suffered losses due to the collapse of Lehman Brothers in 2008.
