“In the LNG supply chain, Italy is a leader in Europe and companies have started from scratch and in less than ten years, thanks also to the regulatory work carried out at national and European level, it has been possible to build an efficient and useful system for the whole country “. This was recalled by Federchimica-Assogasliquidi which today organized the conference “The development of LNG in Italy: a successful case of the commitment of the industrial supply chain and institutions 25 November 2021” as part of the 16th edition of the Oil & nonOil – Energie exhibition, Fuels & Mobility Services, scheduled at Verona Fiere until November 26th.
A great contribution also came from the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the National Fire Brigade who participated in the conference with specific interventions that once again demonstrated how the institutional and regulatory activities carried out in the very recent past have made it possible to accompany the development of the sector with modern regulation on safety aspects. Today, LNG is a consolidated reality that can help the European community achieve the ambitious decarbonisation objectives indicated in the “Fit for 55” package.
