The musician Frank Carpentieri has passed away, an artist of Neapolitan origins known above all for his participation in the Made in Sud program, but who in the past collaborated with many artists of the Neapolitan scene: Alessandro Siani, Enzo Avitabile, Amanegretta, Clementino and Rocco Hunt solo to name a few. The man had been suffering from cancer for some time, a pathology that had become known after his hospitalization in the Monaldi hospital and the message of good wishes from some Napoli players. Just this evening a show was scheduled at the Cilea Theater in Naples called Frank Carpentieri: Brothers & Sisters, in which the artist was supposed to participate.
Who was Frank Carpentieri
Born in 1976 in Naples, Francesco Carpentieri became passionate about music from a very young age, starting to go clubbing at just 18 years old, dividing his time between Ibiza and the Neapolitan scene playing as a deejay. Towards the end of the nineties he began working with television and theatre, composing music for Tribbù, on Rai Due, and for the theater show “Zazzarazà” at the Teatro Augusteo in Naples, as well as obtaining a small part in the film “The Abusive Prince” directed by Alessandro Siani.
