Delivered by the president of the Teatro della Toscana Foundation, Tommaso Sacchi, and the general director, Marco Giorgetti
The president of the Teatro della Toscana Foundation, Tommaso Sacchi, and the general director, Marco Giorgetti, handed over the Golden Key of the First Dressing Room of the Teatro della Pergola in Florence to the actor and director Gabriele Lavia last night. An honor inaugurated by the historic director of the greatest Florentine theater Alfonso Spadoni and over time recognized to artists such as Arnoldo Foà, Glauco Mauri, Valeria Moriconi, Rossella Falk, Aroldo Tieri, Vittorio Gassman.
The Golden Key to maestro Gabriele Lavia is intended to be an “indelible tribute to the strength and vitality of his work, to his way of doing theatre, which the Foundation has supported in the most important shows of the last ten years”.
Moved, Gabriele Lavia remembered the great Eleonora Duse, before thanking the affection of the public and of Florence, and the generous company of actresses and actors of “A curious accident”, at her side these evenings on the stage of the Pergola and on all the others who will come.
