The measures contained in the Piano del Mite: reduction of 15 days of ignition and one degree for buildings
For heating -15 days of ignition and one hour less per day. This is what is stated in the National Plan for the containment of natural gas consumption ‘of the Ministry of Ecological Transition which “provides for administrative actions that reduce the consumption of gas for heating by introducing temperature limits in the environments, of daily hours of ignition and duration of the heating period, according to the climatic bands into which the Italian territory is divided “. These actions “are in addition to what has already been implemented with article 19-quater of decree-law no. 17 of 1 March 2022 which intervened on the heating of public buildings”.
The reduction in consumption promoted by regulating the operation of the heating systems “will be implemented by September 2022 by modifying the current regulation of the temperature and the winter switch-on time through a decree of the Minister of Ecological Transition”.
In particular, the dm will provide that the heating is reduced by one degree for buildings: “the values indicated in article 3, paragraph 1, of Presidential Decree n.74 / 2013 are reduced by 1 ° C (17 ° C +/- 2 ° C of tolerance for buildings used for industrial, artisanal and similar activities; 19 ° C +/- 2 ° C tolerance for all other buildings) “.
Furthermore “the operating limits of thermal plants, with respect to the provisions of paragraph 2 of article 4 of Presidential Decree n.74 / 2013, are reduced by 15 days as regards the ignition period (postponing the start date by 8 days and bringing the year end date forward by 7 days) and 1 hour as regards the daily duration ignition (Zone A: 5 hours daily from 8 December to 7 March; Zone B: 7 hours daily from 8 December to 23 March; Zone C: 9 hours daily from 22 November to 23 March; Zone D: 11 daily from 8 November to April 7; Zone E: 1pm daily from October 22 to April 7; Zone F: no limitations “.
It is specified that “sensitive users (hospitals, rest homes, etc …) are reserved”.
