The actress died at the age of 70 Jacklyn Zemanfailed at cause of a tumor which he had been struggling with for some time. The actress, best known for playing Roberta Spencer, known as Bobbie, in the soap opera general hospitalreceived several warm farewell messages and comments, including one from colleagues on the long-running television series.
A long career
American actress Jacklyn Zeman, born in 1953, before landing in the soap opera that made her famous, first pursued her rookie career with other small roleslike Lana McClain’s in One Life to Live. Just like her character, the legendary Bobbie Spencer, Jackie was also a shining light and a true professional who brought so much positive energy to her work. We will miss Jackie dearly, but her spirit will always live on with our cast and crew. We send our deepest condolences to her loved ones, friends, family and especially her daughters Cassidy and Lacey.

She will be remembered for her portrayal of the bad girl turned hero, which she stood for Emmy nominated, and for her kind heart and radiant spirit. We are devastated to hear of her passing and send our deepest condolences to Jackie’s family, friends and loved ones.
