The meeting set by the Capaccos is obviously a trap. The car in which Genny is traveling is hit by a rocket and blows up. But Genny and ‘O Maestrale had abandoned the car in time, hiding behind a wall, from which they come out firing on their enemies.

O ‘Graduate is taken prisoner by Genny

Gennaro takes O Diplomato to Don Aniello’s house and here, in front of his eyes, kills him. Don Aniello, in a desperate attempt to save his life, reveals to him that Ciro Di Marzio is alive and is in Riga

At the beginning of the second episode, Genny arrives in Riga, where he reunites with Ciro. There seems to be great tension between the two, but everything is resolved with a hug

After lunch, Genny talks to his friend and asks him why he hasn’t returned. Ciro explains that it was the only way he had to protect him

The two decide to go together to a meeting that Ciro has with a Russian contact to whom to sell drugs

At the meeting, in front of a kick boxing match, the two confront each other again: “A friend, when he cheats on you, is he always a friend?”, Genny asks.

The two leave the casino with what appears to be a deal struck with the Russians

But as they leave the casino, a settling of scores occurs between the Russians and Cyrus’ brokers. Genny remains unharmed, Ciro is taken away by the Russians

Taken prisoner, Ciro is taken to a building in the middle of the Latvian countryside and locked inside a cell

Here he receives a visit from Genny, who explains to him why he had him kidnapped: feeling betrayed and abandoned, he wants to make him atone for his sins. After the interview with his friend, Genny has a panic attack in the car

In his cell, Ciro seems to let himself go: he does not eat the food brought by his captors and even seems to attempt suicide. His, however, is actually an escape plan. That succeeds

Having escaped by river on a boat, Ciro is welcomed by a Latvian family living in a caravan. The three feed him and help him. They stand by him even when he is tracked down by the men who hunt him down and help kill them

After the night, Ciro decides to return to Naples

The time for a showdown with Genny has now come
