A tour to celebrate the album Starcatcher
Starcatcher, Greta Van Fleet’s new album, was released on July 21st. It contains 10 tracks. Or better, Half past ninesince the last one is a fragment of a song just 60 seconds long: Runway Blues was born suddenly, returning from dinner. “We just drank a little too much wine, I improvised a riff and everyone grabbed their instruments,” said guitarist Jake Kiszka. “It’s really basic, and it’s a great example of what can be accomplished with a pure attitude.” In Starcatcherits third album, the band shows arock attitude. As if those boys from Michigan, who started with classic rock like Red Zeppelin and then moved on to progressive and psychedelic rock, had become men. Recorded in the same RCA Studios in Nashville used by Elvis Presley and Dolly Parton, the album was preceded by the single Meeting the Masterwhich entered the top 40 on Billboard’s Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart.
